Dealership

Ziems Ford was established in 1961 by Joe Ziems.  Joe Ziems was a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Air Force.  After his service in World War II Joe began work at an auto dealership.  Joe worked his way up until one day he received an opportunity to take over a Ford dealership in Farmington New Mexico.  Joe and his wife Irene packed up the kids and moved to Farmington.  Today, Ziems Ford is still a family business.  Joe’s son Paul and daughter Christine oversee the day to day operations of the business.

Ziems Ford has been a devoted partner of local teams and organizations that help improve Farmington’s community.  Ziems Ford has been a pillar to the Four Corners area for over fifty years with over one hundred people under its employ.
Over the years Ziems Ford has developed great employee loyalty as thirty-eight of Ziems Fords employees have worked for the dealership ten years or longer.  This kind of employee longevity is unheard of in any kind of business let alone the auto industry.  This proves the commitment that Ziems Ford has to its employees and its community.

Customer satisfaction has been the main focus of the business since its inception.
Joes Ziems went to great lengths to ensure that his customers were completely satisfied.  He passed down the importance of this to his children and grandchildren.  This goes to show because Ziems Ford is a five time President's Award winner.  The President's Award recognizes Ford and Lincoln Dealerships that have made a commitment to consistently deliver exceptional sales, service and vehicle ownership experiences to their customers.
Ford Motor Company's President's Award is reserved for the best of the best.  Every year, this award is given to Dealers who provide their customers with first-rate treatment throughout the life of their Ford, or Lincoln vehicle.
